Actually I didn't. I was out on my own, killing things, and suddenly she gave me it.

Also, a guild member of mine, who was on his first Tyrian Character, got the tapestry shred from Qwen, even though he never gave her the cape (and he was out on his own).

Gwen is the destroyer of worlds. It's a common misconception that the Lich had anything to do with destroying Tyria, but veteran players know better.

The Lich is just a bit player, a puppet oblivious to the fact that Gwen is holding the strings - and what is Shiro but Glints counterpart? A continent turned to crystal, could that be the work of anyone but Glint?
No, the only true Powers in the world are Gwen and Glint, master puppetteers deadlocked in an eternal struggle for power...
